Discussion: Murray

Somehow when I read that I thought of Murray Banks. And then "90? He can't be 90 already, can he?" But apparently this wasn't in VT.

Different Murray — Carol’s grandfather. Big pier jump, pot luck, dance and fireworks (that last one by chance since it’s New Brunswick holiday weekend). Can’t wait for his 100th in a couple years.

Nice. We camped at Parlee Beach once several years ago, between a Sass Peepre camp and Eastern Canadians. A memorable and unique place for a stop.

Oddly enough, there was fireworks here last night, too, a long way from NB. Your Murray must be known far and wide!

Also, congrats on the rogaine. Sounds like winning the battle with the weather was a key factor there!

Thanks. Pretty adverse conditions. The teams that beat us went off in a different direction. The winners went much farther than us (17 km), but climbed slightly less. I think they may have stayed out of the worst conditions.
