....perhaps you need more than 8 minutes, I know I do.
And slower than 8 min/mile average.
I also need some drills and stretches before everything will wirk
I now reckon on about 25 minutes to get properly warmed up... seems to increase by about a minute for every year older I get :-)
Yes, I need a much longer warn up than what I'm doing at present so I get the maximum benefit from these sessions. The youngsters I train with can all cope with short warm ups no problem and complain when I want to do more! Will look at doing some running before I get to the club over the next couple of weeks.
