I did a workout there myself back in April, while B was at a doctor appt in Dedham and before we went over to Newton to babysit Arthur. Except I was on foot. I was still on restrictions post-shoulder-surgery, not supposed to be running (especially trail/woods running where the risk of falling would be high), so I figured that speed walking a steep hill was a good way to get in a running-like effort while mostly obeying the doctor. Chatted with a guy going up and down on a bike (at about a 3:1 ratio to me).
There certainly are places where running could be faster than cycling. In my "youth" I could run up faster than I can now bike.
