I got lucky on #3. I don't pacecount, but it sure seemed like I should have hit the control before I did. And what was worse, I saw people passing me the other way looking for it, so I was even more convinced that we had all overran it. But, looking at the map and description sheet, it was on a bridge, which would be on the trail, so I figured that I couldn't have possibly have missed it. I just kept running until I got there. The circle was definitely in the wrong spot. Not even close. I did #1 to #2 in 5:19, and I ran around the loooong way. I was scared off by the green. Looks like I could have saved 2 minutes by cutting through. Interesting. |
