1/8" of which made it into my bsmt. Which didn't seem so bad until I realized the carpet pad was a giant sponge.
Lot of flooded basements the last few weeks. Do you have to pull out the carpet or can you have a cleanup crew dry it out?
I dried it out, w the help of a dehumidifier, several fans, a carpet cleaner and a youtube tutorial showing a shop vac reversed to blow under the carpet. If there is a next time, I might pull the carpet and replace the pad but this was less wasteful.
