Race starts tomorrow. Last year they had good tracking.
There is a U.S. team, Adventure Addicts Racing, including my fellow UNE HQ volunteer, Michelle Faucher.
Also, U.S. racer Brenda Carlson has joined Slovenian team AR Team Slo.
From Finland, Petri Forsman leads Team Multisport.fi.
Crowd favourite Dar Dingle from Ireland is in the mix as well.
Anyone else we should be watching?
Sleepmonsters is reporting on ARC.https://www.sleepmonsters.com/races.php?event_id=1...
Turns out Brenda has joined the defending champions!
AR Live Coverage is also following ARC on Facebook.https://www.facebook.com/arlivecoverage
Brenda was definitely not the limiter at WT - it'll be fun to see her unleashed!
Not to minimize my bestie...but thought AR Slo came in 2nd? Thye are hungry for first! Anyway, she's excited! They have a few warm days ahead of them.
Coincidentally, I spent some time with the RD Igor in Wyoming. So glad that he remembers me!
Just checked last year's results and naturally, you are correct, W4J. Sleepmonsters has it wrong in their article.
According to Brenda's Facebook post, it will be 499 km with 33,000+ feet of elevation gain.
The race starts tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9 a.m., which is 3 a.m. in the Toronto/New York time zone. They have 107 hours to reach the finish line, which will be 10 p.m. Saturday Croatia time.
