Shouldn't have been an issue for me except it coincided with also not seeing the control where I expected. Just trying to analyse my poor decision and remind myself to take that 1 second to check the leg properly when I get a bit behind in map contact. Looking at the splits that leg made barely any difference compared to the other women. One I didn't rate, where I hesitated twice to check a route between 2-3 didn't actually go through olive green seems to have been much more significant.

One of my bigger small errors was literally a 7-pace decelerating over-shoot of a stairway, then doubling-back and being courteous to the 3 other people on the stairs! Like you say, if I'd taken 2s to read the control circle properly that would have saved me about 10s! Marginal stuff.
