I know I'm not an international elite like you but...Why would you choose to cross the fence on that leg rather than going to the gate?!

@Mark3 You missed out on some quality reading (great write up both days Phil, thanks)

"This is easy - turn right after fence. Accelerate,. Feel gap growing. into woods, Ian now right on me, plus an Irish chap. And that was the end of our races - I'd GONE IN A FENCE EARLY..."

Kind of mistake I could easily make tbh.
Looks like Star Posts moved to Binning, part of Macbeth I must have skipped.

Good result for England team #2

LOL - "international elite" !!!!! :-)

Nick Barrable asked me how I'd managed to cock up soooooooo badly. I showed him. He looked baffled for a minute, then simply said: "Can you count to two, Phil?"

More fool the pair who FOLLOWED ME IN. !!!

Re. Star posts - i was told Binning Wood was designed to mimic Paris, the roundabouts long famous roads etc there, but I can't find any hard evidence of this on Google maps or the Internet generally......

Glad (Undy) someone enjoys my write ups. I love writing them as i need to VENT MY SPLEEN (then I can move on). Met the "other", also ex-OD, Andy Simpson properly on the w/e too. (LEI)

Ah, now I understand... I do generally read them but there was too big a gap between the event and the write-up ;)

Yeah, he should work on that, his audience is very fickle.
