Discussion: Help Wanted Local O Training in Allendale NJ , Beginner Training 4 Scout Orienteers

Hello East Coast Attack Point Readers, I am the map field checker and producer of a new O map in Allendale NJ in the heart of Bergen county. I request helpers for registration and start or trainers/officials... for a HVO Scout O meet> to be held on a new Crestwood park, map Ocad by Paul Bennett. white and yellow map courses only. If you are available to help run the O meet, code name Masoc (Mid Allendale SOC...), 11 to 1 starts on sunday oct 13th, i Request pay It-FORWARD helpers for up to 30 to 50 scouts. I and Guy O are in our "darkest hour", and Obewan Kenobi is no where to be found. We are trying to form up a beginners training for local Scouts with full intention to have larger events with perhaps sprints in 2020. Can some one help by providing event assistance? This map is on my bucket list, and Bjorn Walberg started the map raising process that Gorden Hunter and I and Paul Bennett finished, a Map Bashing Story Full of Interesting 6 Year Twists And Turns; as They Say in Doctor many a WHO series, ..." Long Story"!, and I hope to grow HVO interest and regrow public interest in outdoors orienteering in NJ; but I am concerned to have proper veteran Orienteers join my meager staff of 2 at this neat venue. is anybody out there? Any Scout units do public service? map 1st use... is this how the Original Penn Scout Masoc started 31 Years Ago??
