They actually weren't able to tell results at the finish because of some challenges they had with the software, not that I was trying to play coy here with our results. Just saw this also and was pleasantly surprised. There was at least 2 runners done before us where were strong, so we just figured they cleared the course before us.

Nice job! My only suggestion for improvement next year would be a better team name than "Grant Tim". ;)

I think he was crying because I brought him a cold drink and a peach mid-way through the race. The swear words I kept hearing behind me were more related to the pace/pain he was feeling.

hello all. Great to see that people still use this platform for slagging each other. I had a fabulous day chasing this fit mofo around. While I can confirm that "some" crying may have occurred , that many a swear word was uttered by me and that the pace/pain was more than i expected..... I will also say Tim was a great teammate. It was obvious from the end of the second hour that my day was going to be a suffer fest and I'd be lying if I didn't say that I contemplated dropping many times. Tim however nursed me through and was the only reason we did well. he's fit and strong and was a great teammate. I however was.... not. :)

Great day though and would do it again in a heartbeat. That heat put me in a hole that I was not able to climb out of this time.
