Haha yeah. Knowing how I've been in the cold it could be about how many layers I can fit on...

If you are seriously struggling a thin body water would be great for training - arms are free and it just keeps core well insulated... Maybe ask Santa?
(Am I allowed to mention the C........... word in October?)

I'll see what happens and consider it. I don't have much exercise experience but certainly being outside in the cold has been a challenge in the past few years and even multiple big jackets and many
base layers weren't enough. I think it might be ok whilst actually running, but if core temp drops I struggle to warm up again so I'll have to be very on top of post exercise recovery. After 1 of the knockburn swims it took having a hot bath 3 hours after to warm up.

A flask of hot drink for immediately after runs in the cold can help a huge amount. It gets the core warmed up quickly.

True. Like to rest asap after but there is some wiggle room for drinking/eating.
