Anthony:
stretching?? Why start now?? You should be out doing some proper training, in preparation for our next encounter in 9 years time.

Next race is WM2050 so time to improve flexibility....

I'm intrigued by the 'to the second' timing for the stretching?

I struggled to run on Sunday and after a few days of driving now struggling to walk. Back mobility.

Also I hate stretching, so I have a minimal but effective routine that I do while listening to a podcast with a stopwatch running. At least if I log it I do it. Particularly now whilst I'm seeking treatment to help me with this recurring nightmare that Scotty turned up at the Aus champs after 9 years off to knock me off the podium.

I have a small memory tucked away of Scotty bludging some ShuOC headlights off us in the 80s at the Harvester and we gave him a dud one. That is all I can cling onto at the moment.

Hey Undy, maybe you should take up Indoor rock climbing instead? There's a good place at St Leonards (Climbfit)

Well the stretching is really for my back to sort out a chain of problems that end up with my right knee. It takes 10 minutes a day and fixes the problem. Also the rabbit counts it as quality time together.

There is a pilates class near my work, but the only convenient timeslot is when I usually do my weekly right arm strengthening session.

@Anthony - we need to reschedule otherwise I'll be in M60 and you will be doddering round M65. Unless you are confident enough to run up a class?
