You get what you pay for, JennyCas. $70. It was 6 feet tall and had everything you needed, except for the engineering required to withstand 100 km/hr wind gusts.
Whereas Macpacs are designed to stand up in a blizzard. We won't need snow-proofness where we're camping tomorrow, but the overnight minimum forecast is about 2 degrees. Definitely taking the little Olympus and not the Taj Ma-tent!
Enjoy. I only bought the Aldi tent because l thought it would be comfortable for car camping. This was its first outing - with a massive fail. Whereas the MacPac Nautilus has seen around 20 years and several hundred outings, and has never failed.
