I get a truckload every 2 years or so to replace what washes away.

What size rocks? I could still use some to finish the switchback on the new trail.

You would have plenty of your own rocks if you didn’t roll them all down the hill.

Are those a couple rocks in the corner of the drive? Fender bait!

Oh yeah. Big rocks. I need a bigger machine to move them next spring, but for now they are stuck there. One on the left sticking up at an angle, and then one on the right where the drive goes from narrow back to full width. There was another one right in the center near the garage doors that I spent a while with a jackhammer removing the top 12in of to get it well below the final grade.

All the grass between the house and driveway has to get regraded to get the slope away from the house, but I'm going to rent a mini excavator to do that.

I was wondering about the big rocks too. Guessed that the tractor wasn't up to it/ didn't have enough traction due to mud. Works as a guide for plowing snow this winter though, until the snow is too deep I guess

At which point it'll probably be me who finds where the rock is...

Put up some poles to mark where the rocks are when covered by snow.

And be sure to include a bullseye for Alex.
