Good job you humanitarian superhero family! I kinda thought you might be down there, even tho I totally forgot the timetable for next trip. Nobel Prizes for the couple!

Looked up that reserve. Saw Lamas, hills, trees and people doing Yoga (like 20 or so) on a deck on back of a building. Saw a building that had a yellow rounded extension in the middle and tan color rest of building...not sure if that is the clinic or not.

I didn't even get near that. Didn't even know about it.
Our clinic is a concrete block building, with an outhouse with shit all over the seat. No water, or electricity.

Soooo...you love it.

The yoga thing did seem pretty odd but I assume it (google maps photo) was taken in that area...maybe not. I can't wait to see the awards ceremony for you and Julie (Nobel Prize...not sure if it will be a family trophy or two separate ones). Kidding aside that's a good thing you two did/do. If the voting is close I'll tell them there was poody on the potty and that should swing a few more votes your way.

Sorry the heart is racing some. You would think with the running, but resting (no stupid streaking so you don't get proper rest) and veggie eating thing the ole ticker would be better. That 50 year streaker was going to have a heart procedure and thought he could manage to keep his streak alive? So I don't misquote here it is from the article:

'His next health obstacle will come later this summer, when he will get surgery on a narrowing carotid artery. He’s not sure how that’ll impact his ability to keep running. Honestly, he’s concerned he might not be able to run through it, but, as always, he’s going to try.'

Unless there is some sort of minimally invasive procedure I do not see how he can do it or that what he would do would qualify as 'running'. I do not count 14 to 16 minute miles as running...exercise yes, shuffling yes, trotting yes but not running. Anyway I hope the geezer keeps it going...he seemed like a really nice guy.

Maybe you should ease more slowly into the fast stuff and just do a little for very short durations. Perhaps that would 'retrain' the heart versus powering into pretty fast pace...even for a speedster like you...just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you SHOULD do it.

Excellent advice...if only I would follow it myself. Actually that is the working title for my first self-help book. Of course its because I'm too busy and important to follow my own advice. I just GIVE advice, not follow it.
