Discussion: Winter wheels

Thanks again to Carbon’s Offset- I am running his hubs in my winter wheels.

I wish they made a 3”x26 studded tire for the front.
I suppose some day I’ll get a 29er fork and run a studded 27.5 up front... Ka-ching.

Such a great hub. My favourite. I’m glad it found such an appreciative home and is serving you well.

I am hoping I can future-proof it with different end caps to maybe fit a wider spacing rear swing arm too, as 135mm is almost extinct.

I was able to get an end cap kit for my other QR DT240S, to convert it to a modern thru axle

I converted the rear one to a 10mm thru axle, but plan to do what you did in future.
