How much of this camp is skiable?
Who are you doing the map for?
The Aloha Foundation has 3 camps on Lake Fairlee and a couple more a bit north on Lake Morey in the Fairlee area.
Kevin Brooker runs some of the program stuff in the summer at the Ohana Family Camp on Lake Fairlee and keeps an eye on things in the winter - I did that camp a year and a half ago - Kevin ran a ski-o on it this past winter.
He found some $ from the foundation to get maps underway this year at the Horizons Day Camp and Hive Camp, which are across the lake from Ohana. Their entrances are about 3/4 mile apart by road, but the properties come within 150 meters back in the woods a bit - possibility of getting access to connect.
Other than the big open field, not a lot skiable at Horizons, but Hive has a nice XC trail network (John Morton design - so they spent some big $$ on it). However, there is limited grooming equipment / capabilities. Kevin is working on that.
Possibly A meet potential - I'll know more once I spend some time poking around in the woods at Hive.
Sounds like they could use a PistenBully in the budget to go with the Morton trails. Keep supporting their projects!
