I braved Heidelberg Road for 17 years (and still brave some of it) and lived to tell the tale. The old Chandler bridge has now been properly opened as a bike bridge.

Yeah, the purple peril is not built for hills. I've become a bit of a wuss in traffic after my years of Moreland bike paths! And also my brakes aren't great...
