It looks like your 103-41-37-54 ending didn't pay off. 78-80-68-47-58 looks better.
I presume you couldn't find 62?

No, 62 was not obvious and I had 8mins to spare. I had one minute to spare at the finish so I went and grabbed the last two.

It might look better on paper but when you have 15 minutes to descend shitty long seedy grass in-dispersed with small bits of sharp rock rubble and find controls that were relatively hidden (Tim used his little flags, and tucked them away).... I know which option I would take....

The long grass seed infested hillsides are the one thing I was happy to miss out on!

Do you think the double gondola ride was worth it? I struggled in the past to work out if it gains much, it seems like it should be really good because you get a nice downhill and a free uphill but maybe I've just been sucked into thinking this.

I cant say that I really went into it full of the same level and seriousness or enthusiasm like it was world champs and I cared about the result.... I made up my plan on the fly and I made it my mission to ride the gondola at least twice, not really considering how it would effect my route. Takes about 10mins so definately not worth it and if I really wanted to get everything probably not worth going up either
