Don't sweat it. The goal is not to have you at peak racing condition year-round. Your performance overall would suffer if you trained that way.
This was a good effort that overall is a sign of improvement.
yea that's what I gathered. still pretty happy that I can just pull off sub 18s in my down season. also road 5ks aren't really what I'm training for
