total miles ===============
2019--- 2,154 miles for all 'movement' activities counted as training other than warmup stuff that I no longer count and of course just walking around, chores no long count any of this...whether it's counted or not if I do a lot of work that benefits me physically it still benefits me. I have spent hours and hours doing warmup activities weights, stretching, etc.
393 hours...golf takes 4 hours on average although my fast rounds 2 hour 15 minutes average and I've only counted rounds as 4 miles...most of the time probably walked as much as 6 miles and more like 5, but I just decided a long time ago to count a full round of golf as 4 miles and only as 10 minutes as I felt if I ran really hard for 10 minutes that would be same amount of effort as walking 4 hours and swinging clubs of various weights. I've tried to be conservative and fair versus having 1000 hours of AP workout time if I counted all the golf...golf is work especially now days...and I could probably count it more like 20 or 30 minutes of trotting along, but I'm staying with 4 miles and 10 minutes time.
I was really surprised how few miles in non-stop/walk days I had run! Now about 60% or more of the walk/trot miles were trotting along or running. The main thing was I kept moving and I noticed you are doing lots of hiking/walking and while that does not do the same thing as running I've come to believe there are days that it is no doubt that walking of some sort was the best exercise...it works everything without straining (most of the time)...
Good luck this year. I'll have to see if I can build a 2 year racing streak.
