They had 2545 participants on Christmas, which beat the record they set the previous Christmas of 2011. I don't even know how they cope with that many people but they regularly get well in excess of 1000 each week.

Rockingham where I ran on the weekend had 312 although it coincidentally hadn't exceeded 300 since last February. People just want to come and run with me, obviously! Rockingham didn't seem "busy" (it gets one of the highest attendances in WA, probably matched only by Bibra Lake & Lake Joondalup followed by Canning River) although when we ran at Albert back in October with over 600 people, that was chockers.

Bushy - 2 friends of mine have been there in 2020. Must check in with them about that experience. Have you seen the footage of how they deal with the finish funnel? It is truly awesome and it would have to be with numbers like that. People should be honoured to run with you or rather just behind you. There was a spate of youngsters coming 1st across the line over the past few weeks at a few of the local parkruns - mostly in the 11-15 ages. Possibly the faster slightly older males are indulging a bit over the festive season?and the youngsters fueled on chocolate?
