Can't imagine a whole hour of yoga.

Most yoga classes are at minimum 75 minutes and some of them are 90 minutes! I teach 60 minute classes, and a lot of times it doesn’t feel like it’s enough time!

The one we take regularly is 60 minutes long start to finish but the last 5-10 minutes is savasana. :-) (and we start slowly so I usually log 50 minutes)

That’s my speed JanetT. Even if I can only get 20 min it makes a huge difference if I’m consistent. Do you and Glen practice together?

Yes, there's an exercise room in the clubhouse in our community, and two different yoga instructors come (one teaches Mon and Fri, the other on Tuesday, a bit different style). The M/F (gentle yoga) class is usually full (max we've fit into the room is 12, we might be able to squeeze in a couple more but 9-10 works better).

Glen's the only male in the classes but we started taking yoga in NY and have been doing so for 6+years, so he's comfortable with it and enjoys the extra flexiblity he's developed. He's usually in the front row (near the instructor).

Nice! Sounds like you found a good class!
