OUSA should absolutely be looking outside of the orienteering community for admin support. There are many people who have experience with nonprofit administration in the world, far more than have experience with orienteering. I recommend posting on idealist.org
(specifically for nonprofits), but we got the most candidates from Indeed.com. We also posted on ZipRecruiter and CraigsList.
We have gotten some really great candidates. We have people with non-profit experience, with experience teaching kids, people with experience writing curricula, doing accounting, doing marketing. There are a lot of great people out there. There are not a lot of orienteers out there.
