Way to get those miles in and take care of your calves!

Thanks! It was indeed muddy at all the traditionally muddy spots. The little section that's along the creek between Plush Mill & Baltimore Pk was ankle deep and flowing, and the Crum was mid-calf and flowing fast at the crossing, and below Strath Haven Condos it was the normal post-big-rain series of 5 or 6 big, ankle-deep puddles.

Before this run I didn't really like my new shoes. I'd been using them on the street. They really shine on the trail! Comfy, roomy, surprising grip for their tread, no mud pickup. Wonderfully-shocking yellow color, that matches my visors:

Of course they are clearance, so I'd better get more, or I'll have to get the newer, more expensive "G" (graphene) version. :)

The best news is that I thought I'd feel terrible today (Mon), but just 'normal', post-lotta-miles achy.

Blargh!! Out of stock now. :( Maybe I'll pony up for the Gs in a few months.

Pony up. Your feet are precious foundations for all else. I may have just done some yoga...

I will once my current stable of shoes (a bit ridiculous!!) requires a refresh. They really get great reviews, and the newest version is a good bit lighter, too. Huzzah!

*three cheers for great shoes*
*four cheers for ridiculous stables of shoes*
...never let anyone judge you for having too many shoes...
