Are you using a chest strap or a wrist based monitor? For anything hand intensive the write based monitors often have problems. For me this includes biking, rowing and XC skiing, which is 3/4 of the things I do (leaving out only running/orienteering). Very annoying.
Chest and wrist simultaneously. I think it's the altitude. But I've been here 6 months now and nothing really adds up. I thought runs would be elevated. But 160bpm for easy runs is a little excessive. And 98bpm for steady skate strangely low I think. I'll see what's going on for real in the summer when I'm back in God's Own country.....Yorkshire!!
I think it's that your happier and healthier not being in Houston.
Now there's a very good point. Well presented.
