Is this the year that West Point streak ends?

Put Kai, Mathew, and Caroline on a team and a home turf event....

Ha, UW was the most recent non-West Point team to win (in 2002).

Curtis is strong also!

Yeah, for sure!

Looks there are 9 UW students competing in Winter League, so that's two teams at Nationals. In order to win, I'd make an A-team of 5 and a B-team of 4. Curtis would be on the A-team, also.

I remember that Mathew won IS Varsity back in 2012 and everyone non-local was like "Oh, he just won because he's local and he knows how to orienteer in crappy terrain."

Lake Superior? Who was on that team? Was it Ski-O?

I'm surprised more Mass schools haven't won this. Or UNH.

And KU would have won a 3rd if only our third athlete had had a legal finish the second day (we just had three runners: Spike, me, and one other guy -- he was a little injured so he DNF'd. He felt pretty bad when we told him if he'd just finished in 3 hours we would have beaten WP again..).

Pink Socks >> can you share the link where the historical results live? I am having trouble finding them.

I don't have official results, but everything through 2017 is on Wikipedia here.

(Therefore, because it's wikipedia, perhaps Lake Superior State is a joke, Nev.)

It looks like West Point's current 17-year championship streak is the second longest active streak.
