Fairlight beach on Sat was my first experience of ocean baths!

Really? Not sure if I've ever mentioned that we had a project post employment to visit every ocean pool in NSW. We got to about 10 so I'm thinking after house renos I might reinstitute that project.
I learnt to swim in ocean baths - as did so many of my generation in Newcastle. There is a very hardy group who swims all year round.

My parents' project was to visit every Foodland supermarket in SA but I think they've forgotten about this as mum's memory gets worse...
