I ran exceptionally quick 8 miler for me today with good weather conditions and if I could have run one more mile at 10 minute pace or so...I would be 2 miles behind you...don't know whether to laugh or cry at that...actually I'm laughing...I mean I hauled today...even though I can't really go out and run where I'm flying it was close to that once I got back the first mile.

Again that was a really good run. I wished I could run a 5K at that pace.

It was hard and I'm tired today. Those guys dropped me on every hill, but they are all between 46-58. Kids...

....and, I'd take your 8 mile effort any day of the week!

Thanks for the pep talk. I need a group of 'kids' to drag me along. I'm tired now. When I finished it was the best I felt for 6 weeks or more on my Sunday long runs of 6 miles or more...but 3 hours later it feels like I went about 12 miles.

Good luck!

Maybe we can motivate each other. I mean it about Jay's knees...just to feel better until he does something stretching his calves, hams and doing some Google exercises for knees and core might give him some sort of relief while he's pondering what to do.
