Mr Wonderful:
That's been the bummer lately - out of town on the wrong weekend and I miss one of the two chances to ski the local park.

Amazing that the Jamaican stray is becoming such a enthusiastic companion on your XC workouts. Guess all the work you did with shots, papers and permissions just to get the dog into the States has paid off. Congratulations! Now there's a REAL heart-warming refugee story!

She’s a tough dog, doesn’t seem to get cold, very full of energy and interesting personality. Don’t be throwing no biking gloves at her either. (-:
Will test her out at a Cani-cross run Sunday at Bristol Woods. The test is how will she be around other strange dogs. I think fine, but Sunday will tell.

It’s been a very warm year, but up north had had good to excellent ski conditions for most of the winter.

I was at the start of the Iditarod 10 years ago and couldn’t believe how thin and lean the dogs were. Then a friend pointed out that marathoners look just the same.

My Skijoring dog is a mean and lean Jamaican dog. 5 miles is her max distance right now.
My wife sorta bitches that if she gets in better shape the more activity she needs :-)
