Here’s a few details that were promised.
Where: Lake of the Ozarks State Park
Directions: Osage Beach Pkwy/ HWY 42 junction by walgreens. Go 4 miles east on 42 to HWY 134. Go right on 134 for 4.2 miles. The Shelter is on the right.
849 Highway 134, Brumley, MO 65017
When: This Saturday Feb 29
Prerace meeting @6:45am
Map Distribution @7am
Race Start @8am
Race Finish @ 4PM!
Maps are 1:24,000 USGS base map preplotted
There will be 2 water drops
Plenty of parking at the HQ shelter
There will be portable toilets at HQ but no running water.
Bottled water will be available at start.
Sandwiches, snacks, and drinks provided post race. (anything alcoholic BYOB)
Post Race Awards start once everything is tallied for top 3 (group/solo) overall.
Possibility of an Award for best story of off course park appreciation time!
Post Race stories start right away!
I’ve heard a few are staying at the Quail’s Nest Inn, both friday and Saturday.
