So, I'm curious. Did you sleep with the husbands, or were they allowed to sleep with their wives in the upper class hut?

No, l shared a peasant room with the husbands (plus 5 other people). Their wives visited briefly one evening, to inspect the accommodation.

Jayne - l dont think your future condition is going to allow you to do this walk for some considerable time either.

I know :( i think we might manage an overnight in the next year but multiple nights might be pushing it. It's on the list!
