I hadn't seen many of those conspiracy theories yet, but I had seen a few people point out that it's possible more lives will be saved by the decrease in air pollution and car crashes than those lost to the virus.
It was a bit of a worry that someone felt it necessary to state in a newspaper article yesterday that "there is no evidence of a link between 5G and coronavirus".
I do expect the reduction in economic activity to have a noticeable impact on growth rates of CO2 this year (in a normal year it grows by 2-3 parts per million per year but I wouldn't be surprised if it's under 2 this year), but a one-off change like that would only delay the trajectory of warming by a few months.
