You missed the two great overlooks, on the west side!
There are probably some nice views from the trail you were on though. The woods there are so nice right now.

We were hoping to end up on that side but didn't pay close enough attention to the trail map ahead of time. I have actually only been in the park once before when there was a SSS event. Nice woods.

Just noticed you were there ahead of us today.

It's not the closest park -- with Gr Falls closer and just as nice, it doesn't always make sense to go there. But it's less crowded and a nice change of pace.
Next time you'll have to get to the overlooks. They're nice (not spectacular but worth going to).
