Was all the toilet paper missing? And were the queues extremely long?

Oh goodness, toilet paper started walking off the shelves 2 weeks ago and hasn't been seen since. Now you can't get rice, pasta or bread by end of any day. It is truly bizarre...and people in country towns are understandably upset at city folks driving to raid their shops.
Apparently also it's no longer possible to buy a deep-freezer (chest freezer) from whitegoods stores because stocks have run out.
But, the supermarket did have a bucket of roses by the counter with a sign saying "Please take one to brighten your day and please be patient with staff and each other if you can't find what you want".
