Congrats for the 4-minute plank! Whatever you're doing, your core is definitely benefitting! Very impressive!

I too am experiencing diminishing returns from walking around the neighborhood....maybe it is my 22-day chain of rowing and XC skiing machine workouts this month in my basement.

Unfortunately the State of Illinois has been locked down as of yesterday. So won't be walking much anyway. Hope CT avoids such urgent measures.

We are advised to stay home, businesses, stores, etc to be closed effective tomorrow evening, restaurants only for takeout, as yet no prohibition on going for a walk, although the communication was 70 or over should just stay home. Lucky for me, home takes in a very substantial back yard.

Does "locked down" intend that people can't walk in a nearby park or patch of forest,
keeping their distance?

Walking in a popular park would be a bad idea. See stever’s rant where he describes the stupid groups clogging the way around a reservoir. Not everyone has gotten the message to keep their distance, or they just don’t give a damn.

Leslie & I have been continuing our walks on the sidewalks and parks around Berkeley. There are more people out than I have ever seen, but everyone is practicing the social distancing dance. Quite impressive. Walks are taking much longer because we are seeing more of our neighbors and friends along the way. Everyone wants to chat at a distance.
