The "going on a bear hunt" song is a big favorite in our house, and everyone has to act out all of the different movements as they happen in the song.

My parents have also been watching the Met showings every evening. I feel like you would get along with them. I'll be sure to pass along the Sudbury Opera Lovers Organization schedule once they start meeting again, in case you're ever in the mood for a viewing + dessert eating.

It turns out that Cooper is pretty into the opera, too. We were watching "La Fille du Regiment" the other day, a pretty good one for a kid because it is a lot of marching around and a lot of funny stuff, but of course great music. Well he was really talking about it, so now that he is back home, he is watching part of the Met Opera each day and calling me up on Face Time to tell me about it. Today we did "Eugene Onegin", definitely not a kid theme, but he watched some of the scenes that had dancing, and one that had a bunch of peasant women sweeping up leaves, and all that was just fine with him. Not sure how we will do with Wagner tomorrow.

Saw your comments about the Met Opera and told an old colleague about this. He was thrilled - very good timing since he´s a great fan of Wagner and they´re showing the first part of the Nibelungen Ring tonight!
