I haven’t quite decided if solo fatbike for my 10th age ride is a violation of quarantine. I think it’s ok for social distancing, but maybe not for quarantine.

Technically, you're in self-isolation (quarantine is for sick people) and it's not really allowed. If a car bumped into you and sent you to hospital, the Emerg staff would have to treat you as if you were infectious. Of course, the same would be true if you slipped on the basement stairs. If you do go out and stay away from people and don't touch anything, you can't cause any harm but I wouldn't post about it on social media!

It’s easy to stay away from people, and pretty easy to stay away from cars. But little accidents can cause me to leak red stuff...so...I will probably give myself an age pass since it was crystal clear that I was strong enough to do the 10th ride, which is really the point of the exercise.

I suspect that after Parliament sits for its emergency session today, our activities may be even more restricted. :( Maybe plan a different, creative way to finish celebrating your age, just for this year?
