Because after all, why not?
BTW, with all this self-isolating, isn't it amusing to think that a whole generation is suddenly going to have to learn to cook...but maybe not rice or pasta!
I fervently hope that some real changes to behaviour and an appreciation for what "we" have taken for granted are long lasting. And Junior has just discovered TP and not in a scrum situation. Maybe sanity is emerging. And you take care of you too - I think there are going to be some tough times in your field.
Friend just messaged me "laughing" that she had decided to cook a cake as one of her "isolation" challenges. Knew she no longer had a cake tin but upon phoning neighbours either side and across the road - neither did they.
We have lots of cake tins, but we are across the country not the road
And the borders are closed too.
New non-contact sport - cake tin frisbeeing!
(with gloves on)
This situation has really made me think about how much of our 'disposable' income we all spend unnecessarily on travel and food which other people have cooked for us - but also how many other people's livelihoods depend on us doing so.
Huh, without my unnecessary travel I'd just be sitting at home all day. It's unnecessary stuff that makes life worth living else every day would just be a chore.
jennycass - not sure LOST Richard's got enough oomph to get the cake tin across the country. That would be Ultimate Frisbee.
