A well deserved day off from the erg tomorrow. March challenge wasn’t on my radar because I was expecting to be away for 2 weeks. Once I realized I was going to be home it was already March 9. A lame excuse.

Thanks for the encouragement. Each year that challenge hurts more and more...and the pace declines. I used to try to set a few PRs after a couple weeks, but not this year.

Glad to see you're still mixing in a few pieces with your daily exercise. And I envy your rural setting. Yesterday was a nice warm day here, but our mayor decided too many folks crowded the Lakefront. So today she's shut down the Lakefront, with cops handing out $500 misdemeanor tickets!

I don't know about the tickets, but they have closed all the parks in CA, according to my daughter. She is still able to walk on the nice Santa Rosa Creek trail that she can access from her backyard.

It was the same problem as in Chicago. A nice idea to go for a walk along the lake or in a park, but when everybody gets the same idea, then it becomes too much of a risk. Very hard to set limits on it other than to just shut it down. Unfortunate.
