Seriously. In 25 years I've never seen so many people on my street, in the park, on the trail walking, even jogging. Who are they all? And what do they normally do? And there are more dogs out than I've ver seen around here and out on the trail. The Duffy's Lane trail access parking lot has been full everyday, and the other trail access point on Castlederg had 5 cars there today at 4:30. Maybe people will be healthier because of Covid19 since they're all walking, running, hiking, biking every day now.
I've heard the same thing from friends all over the world. I guess these people normally go to work, their kids normally go to school, and they normally have a schedule of hockey games, committee meetings, piano lessons and shopping, none of which can happen anymore. I do think some people will come out of this healthier, and we'll all have a very different perspective on our lives.
And some of us have been in the house for almost 2 weeks, quarantined, crossing our fingers that we can keep counting down the days successfully.
Good for you for doing it properly when so many people haven't! Stay well and I hope you'll be out biking soon.
