not to say their is anything wrong with salomon, but I find with a chronic injury sometimes switching up shoes drastically can do the trick. I am size 8 - with most shoe stores closed (although MEC online still open) if you want me to send you pair or two to try, I am happy to. got a fairly new pair of topo terraventure (trail) and NB zante (road) that might be interesting to try!

Thanks, that's really kind of you! :) I'm size 9 so unfortunately I can't test drive your shoes. That's a good idea though. I have some Hokas that I rarely use so I'll take them the next time I do an outdoor walk/run. I only have one pair of clean indoor shoes for the treadmill so that might take some shopping - or some cleaning.

I procrastinated on seeing my sports chiro last month - there may be some regrets about that. :( On Coach LD's advice, I've started wearing indoor shoes rather than walking around in sock feet all the time and that seems to help. I miss trail running - especially now.

I wear keen bali sandals in the house all the time - huge difference than being in socks I find! fingers crossed that helps for ya, bash! a PM&R specialist told me the same years ago!
