Discussion: Markers

#4 could use some string to tie it back up, I didn't see the string around.
hang it thru a tree branch twig.
#5 retied it.
#11 couldn't find the marker tag, but fairly sure I was in the right spot.

Seems like the strings are breaking or someone is tearing them down. Will replace them tomorrow with plastic ties.

Replaced #s 1-3 then dropped the ties someplace between 3 and 4. Will finish today.

Done.

String may get stolen by chipmunks or squirrels for nesting. Thanks Rick/Linda! Everything looked good on April 6

Just curious if anyone has been there recently and noted if the parking lot is open or closed. Looks uncertain on google map.

County closed all the golf courses so may have blocked off the parking lot. Lots of other small parking spots on the side of the road. Course up until Monday, 4/13.

I haven't been there since 3/31 but there's no gate on the parking lot so it would take some effort to close it. In addition to spots along the road, the grass across the road from the parking lot has an "overflow parking" sign so you could use that. (Though maybe not if it is soft unless you are feeling confident in your traction...been there, done that with a 15 passenger van.)

On April 3, the parking lot was open. And the "overflow parking" sign was up as well although as I walked across the latter, I was glad to have parked in the lot. (Of course, it was raining that day...)
