NE Ohio is offering a 100 control Rogaine that can be completed at any time. Max time is 8 hours on your own stopwatch without any break time. Self report time and controls found on the club web site. Download map and answer form from the event page at http://neooc.com/tuscazoar-challenge/
The controls are colored laminated historic markers placed around the very rugged landscape of Camp Tuscazoar near Dover, Ohio to commemorate their 100th year.
A commemorative coin is available for those that find at least 50 sites.
So fun! Wish I were way closer. :) Great job!
will do a trip. already have a paper map of that location.
ICO Just put up 3 courses for Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis if you live in that area. I think the Indiana Governor does not want you trying out this course if you are coming in from New York :) http://www.indyo.org/schedule/2020-events/eagle-cr...
Had hoped to do Tuscazoar Thurs or Fri, but the river is still very high and several points flooded. Hoping it will go down more by Mon.
Fun and rugged course (Tuscazoar Challenge); river was down today, but definitely check the river stage link on the event info page; heavy rain is forecast tomorrow.
A few of the markers are on different sides of building, trail, clearing, etc than indicated on map. Since they are one-sided, and often attached to large trees, there's sometimes a little bit of searching once you know you're in the right spot.
I've corrected the control arrow locations for the problems Mike mentioned. Updated maps ready for download.
