Now I am somewhat paranoid about going out......so yesterday afternoon's emergency message on the cell phones to "stay the #^% home" isn't too out of line from my train of thought!
Ironically, after I got home 3 weeks ago and composed and sent an email to my manager/her manager/the rest of my team saying I was in quarantine for 2 weeks, I read the emails that had come through on the weekend.....the company wide (both US and Canada) policy had become Work From Home for all those who can....and this has been extended and extended.....for who knows how long. Obviously those who work in production, bagging white beans, loading/unloading trucks of wheat to go into breakfast cereal need to be present at the elevator/processing plant, but now with a new protocol of personal safety in place.
With nicer weather, the retiree can spend more time outside doing garden work, making it more peaceful in the house for me to concentrate on work-work :)
