Doc said to take steroid medicine, ice 3 times a day for twenty minutes...that is about double what I was doing and no running and he said no walking...I'll do a mile or so to keep my streak going...if that does not work in ten days I'll need it drained then. Crap. I have lost 3 weeks on this due to virus. I should have just tried to get in two weeks ago (viral) and got this over with.

All from an idiot fall caused by a split second decision to take a 2 yard short cut...the thing is, at that spot I do that every so often so I guess sooner or later it was going to happen...if only I had been going slower or the other direction I would have landed on grass.

Prednisone prescribed. Will not repeat what I wrote in daily log notes. If not for virus would have went in sooner (or if knee hurt, could not run, etc) and then 4 day delay from Tuesday when virtual appointment messed up due to phone issues. It has been a long time since I have had this type of interruption. Time and again when something happened within 3 to 4 days I was back to at least doing some trotting besides walking and usually in less than week back to slow/moderate running/jogging pace.
