You may want to be careful, I believe tracks are considered closed in all of Ontario so you could be fined by bylaw if they saw you at it.

Thanks. I did not know that. We went there to avoid some of the bike paths near us that can be quite busy at that time of day.

Those properties (like aldershot school, pool and track) are usually several lots owned either by the city or the school board. It’s not always clear who owns what, which makes it hard to determine if the track, which appears to belong to the school, is closed like all city facilities are. Basically, everything is.

The school board won’t be able to do much about enforcement, although there is security, they’ll just call police. City bylaw however is newly empowered and enthusiastically engaging with just about everything they can. Being that close to la salle park they’re probably nearby.

It is quite a nice track. It was my first time there.
