Suspect the boring route was not too far removed from what I was doing in the later stages of this, although by then I was probably too tired to notice. (I haven't gone longer in training since).

Yes, that's the one. At that stage I barely knew the southern and western suburbs of Adelaide so was possibly a little more ambitious than might have been wise, but it worked out more or less OK.

Yes - ran 2.52s both before and after.
