I found a few more, and one new one in an area I mapped last year :)

I found a good area of termite/ant mounds in WA (we don't have them on any of our maps, not entirely sure why there's so many in this particular area) but we'd never be allowed in.

I'm not a huge fan of termite mounds: the only protest I've ever lodged in an event in Australia was over a termite mound control (last control in a State championships; it took me two goes taking a bearing off the finish to find it). However, in this terrain they are often prominent features and less common than boulders/cliffs, so more distinct.

Just about zero in this neck of the woods, I am guessing soil type is a factor? None on any of our maps as far as I can recall - I certainly haven't mapped any!

They were pretty prominent in this area I found them. I do recall doing an event in NSW once where controls were placed next to 0.4m termite mounds in areas where it was difficult to see either the mound or the flag so I had issues with them ever since.
