They can still be perfectly valid all the extra time could be befor the start or after the end. If you don't mark it as race Strava gives moving time. If it's race then you need to go start and stop correctly and it will show total time.
ah yes you're right of course , & as O often means short stops, I always put "race" in.
I guess the #stravawankers aren't putting "race" in....
I reckon if i do 15 mins for 5km, in 50x 100m , my DOMS the next day will be UTTER AND COMPLETE MURDER. Who'll sponsor me ? ;- )
